01Who is responsible

The controllers of your data are ewacorp SRL, a Costa Rican company, and ewacorp LLC, a United States company (in this notice, “ewacorp” or “we”).

• ewacorp SRL: Escazú, San José, Costa Rica.
• ewacorp LLC: 10601 Clarence Dr, Suite 250, Frisco, Texas, USA.

This notice covers the ewacorp.com site and the data you give us when you contact us. Data we handle while providing a contracted service is governed by the respective contract.

02Data we collect

When you browse the site. We do not ask you to register or create an account. The site uses no cookies, stores nothing in your browser that identifies you and loads no analytics, advertising or third-party content.

Like any web server, the hosting service (Google Cloud; see “Where it is and who handles it”) logs technical data for each request: the IP address, the browser and system type (User-Agent), the address of the requested page, and the date and time. We do not use those logs to identify you or to measure what you do on the site.

If you use the contact form. When the form is available, we will ask for:

• name;
• company;
• email address;
• company size, in ranges of people;
• what you need (project type);
• when you want to start (timeline);
• your role in the company, only if you choose to give it;
• a message, only if you choose to write one;
• your consent, which you check yourself: the box is never pre-checked.

We also record the language of the page you write from. Today the form is not active; in the meantime, the site invites you to email us.

If you email or call us. If you write to an email address published on the site or call one of the published phone numbers, we receive whatever you choose to share: at least your email address or number, and the content of your message. We do not need sensitive data (health, beliefs or origin, bank details or passwords) to answer you: please do not send it.

Minors. The site is aimed at companies, not at minors. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has given us data, write to soporte@ewacorp.com and we will delete it.

03What we use it for

We use the data from the form or from your message to:

• answer your inquiry and set up the conversation you ask for;
• follow up commercially on that conversation, for example by sending you a proposal or getting back in touch if something was left pending;
• prioritize our replies by company size, project type, timeline and role. This is an internal classification and has no legal effect on you;
• meet the legal obligations that apply to us.

The technical data in the hosting logs is used only to run the site, diagnose failures and protect it from abuse.

We do not sell or rent your data, we do not use it for advertising and we do not combine it with other sources.

Today we send no newsletters or marketing campaigns. If we ever do, we will only write to you for that purpose if you expressly agree, and every message will include a simple way to unsubscribe. Unsubscribing does not stop us from writing to you about an ongoing conversation or service.

04Legal basis

We handle form data based on your express consent, which you give by checking the box before you submit. The box is not pre-checked and, without it, the form cannot be sent.

When you email or call us on your own initiative, we use that data to answer you.

The hosting's technical logs are handled because they are necessary to provide the site and keep it secure.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to soporte@ewacorp.com. Withdrawing it does not affect what we did before based on it.

05Where it is and who handles it

The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting and Google Cloud. Google handles the technical request data as a processor, on ewacorp's behalf, on servers that may be outside Costa Rica, including in the United States.

Form inquiries will be delivered to desarrollos@ewacorp.com. Emails you send us directly are received in Microsoft 365, the email service from Microsoft.

This means your data may be handled in Costa Rica and in the United States, where ewacorp SRL, ewacorp LLC and our providers operate.

We only share your data with those who need it for the purposes in this notice: between ewacorp SRL and ewacorp LLC, and with the providers listed, whom we require to protect it with security measures similar to ours.

We may also disclose it when reasonably necessary to:

• comply with a law, a court process or a valid request from an authority;
• enforce our policies;
• detect, prevent or investigate fraud, illegal activity or security issues;
• exercise or defend our rights against a claim;
• protect the rights, property or safety of ewacorp, of you or of other people;
• cooperate with law enforcement, or protect intellectual property or other rights.

If ewacorp is part of a merger, an asset sale or another corporate transaction, your data may pass to the acquiring company, which will take on the obligations in this notice.

We protect data with reasonable measures: the site is only served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and the function that receives the form does not store your name, email or message in its logs. No measure is foolproof, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

06How long we keep it

• Hosting technical logs: Google keeps them for about 30 days and then deletes them automatically.
• Form inquiries and messages you send us: as long as needed to handle and follow up on them.

After that period, we delete the data or anonymize it, unless a law requires us to keep it longer or we need it to resolve a claim. If you become a client, your data is then governed by the contract and by the legal obligations that apply.

We may correct or delete incomplete or inaccurate data at any time.

07Cookies and third parties

The site uses no cookies, first-party or third-party. It also uses no analytics, tracking pixels or advertising, and loads no content from other sites: fonts, images and code are served from ewacorp.com itself.

The only thing the site stores in your browser is the scroll position of the pages you visited, in session storage (sessionStorage), to bring you back to the same spot when you use the Back button. It is technical data: it does not identify you, it never leaves your browser and it is cleared when you close the tab.

That is why the site shows no cookie banner. If we ever add analytics or another third-party tool, we will update this notice and ask for your consent before turning it on.

This notice does not cover third-party sites or services. If you share data with another site, its own terms and privacy notice apply: we recommend reading them.

08Your rights

Law 8968 gives you the rights of access, rectification, deletion and objection. Specifically, you can ask us to:

• confirm whether we handle your data and give you access to it, along with information on how we use it;
• give you a copy of the data you provided, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• delete your data;
• stop handling it, if you object;
• restrict how we handle it;
• withdraw your consent.

To exercise them, write to soporte@ewacorp.com from the email address you used with us, or tell us how to verify your identity. We respond within the time limits set by Law 8968 and its regulations.

These rights are not absolute: sometimes a law or another legal obligation requires us to keep certain data. If so, we explain it in our reply.

If you believe we did not handle your request properly, you can file a complaint with Costa Rica's data protection authority, the Agencia de Protección de Datos de los Habitantes (PRODHAB).

We honor these same rights for anyone who requests them, including people outside Costa Rica, such as in the United States.

09Privacy contact

We may update this notice when what the site does or what the law requires changes. The current version is always the one on this page, with its last updated date. If a change is significant, such as a new purpose or a new provider, we will say so on the site and, if needed, ask for your consent again.
